WHEN: Friday, Oct. 16, 2015—9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

WHERE: Los Angeles City College, 855 North Vermont Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90029

Employers will include a diversity of industries and occupations, including education, healthcare, retail, government, security, transportation, and many others. Some companies scheduled to participate include: Lowe’s, Warner Brothers, Car Pros Kia, Fed Ex, CBS Radio, Los Angeles World Airport, Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, Office Depot, H&R Block, Urth Café, 99 Cents Only Stores, Goodwill, Starbucks, Farmer John and Sears Holding.

This year’s Hiring Spree is the result of a collaborative effort between Los Angeles City College, Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE), Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services (DPSS), Weingart Center Association, MCS Hollywood WorkSource, Department of Rehabilitation, Los Angeles Mission, Goodwill, Catholic Charities, Child Care Careers, Los Angeles World Airports, AYE and the EDD. This event is endorsed by L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti, L.A. County Third District Supervisor Sheila Kuehl, State Senator Kevin De Leon, Assemblyman Mike Gatto and Los Angeles City Council Member Mitch O’Farrell.
