The Harbor BusinessSource is pleased to announce the upcoming Veterans Entrepreneurship Expo on March 21, 2014 in San Pedro, CA.
Eligible veterans will receive assistance on starting their own business, growing their existing business, and accessing commercial capital. On hand will be expert business consultants, as well as veterans specialists and City of LA representatives.
The Harbor BusinessSource is funded by the City of Los Angeles to provide a variety of services to entrepreneurs and small business owners in Los Angeles. In 2013-14, the Harbor BusinessSource served 192 entrepreneurs, assisted in launching 16 businesses, and facilitated access to capital to the tune of $5.1 million.
The new Veterans Initiative is designed to provide veterans and eligible spouses with workshops, technical training, marketing assistance, business plan development, market assessment, and loan packaging. All services are provided free of charge.
