Managed Career Solutions, SPC. provides Social Security Work Incentive Planning and Assistance (WIPA) services to individuals residing in qualifying* zip codes throughout Los Angeles County.
Services provided are more individualized and promote consumer choice. Work incentive planning is non-judgmental and focused on your employment goal and your financially stable future.

Our FREE services include:
- Verifying ALL of the benefits you receive
- Providing you with an easy-to-read letter explaining the impact of work on ALL the benefits you receive, including a handy to-do list to keep you organized
- Offering you long-term, on-going support to help you work through the maze of benefit services – ensuring you understand, report, and learn to manage your benefits as you become more financially stable
we will also refer you to the proper agencies to assist with your HUD, SNAP, Medicare Coverage Assistance, Medicaid buy-in, Special Medicaid Beneficiary, TANF, Veterans, Unemployment, Worker’s Compensation, and others.
Work Incentives
Special rules make it possible for people with disabilities receiving Social Security or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) to work and/or attend school and still be eligible for your benefit payments including Medicare and/or Medicaid. We will help you request, implement, and track all work incentives you may qualify for.
In addition to your Social Security or SSI benefits, we will also refer you to the proper agencies to assist with your HUD, SNAP, Medicare Coverage Assistance, Medicaid buy-in, Special Medicaid Beneficiary, TANF, Veterans, Unemployment, Worker’s Compensation, and others.

It is important to know WHICH benefit you receive from Social Security! You may receive way MORE than one!
Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI):
A beneficiary receives a cash benefit and Medicare based on his or her own past work record and paid in enough Social Security Tax to an insured up worker.
Childhood Disability Benefits (CDB):
A beneficiary (over the age of 18) receives a cash benefit and Medicare based on his or her parent became disabled, retired, or passed who, who had paid in enough Social Security Tax to an insurance worker.
Disabled Widow(er)s Benefits (DWB):
A beneficiary (Between 50 and 60) receives a cash benefit and Medicare based on his or her deceased spouse who paid in enough Social security Tax to be an insured worker.
Supplemental Security Income (SSI):
A beneficiary receives a cash benefit and Medicaid based on limited income and resources. This is a needs-based benefit that is connected to prior work activity, but is paid by for by tax dollars.
