The Corporate Business Services Department is responsible for outreach to businesses in the local community to cultivate relationships to hire unemployed and underemployed individuals enrolled in the various MCS federally funded programs. They also work closely with the Development Department to gather all employer commitment letters needed for grant applications.

This department also accounts for up to 75% of all Work Source placements and 100% of all Special Projects and Sector Initiative placements. One such example is the new W Hotel on Hollywood and Vine. The Corporate Business Services Department coordinated the hiring of 142 of the 200 community new hires during January – May 2010.
