My name is Emmy Yi, and I am a recent graduate from an Associates Degree Nursing program. I have recently passed NCLEX and am proud to be a part of the Registered Nursing profession. During these economically difficult times, Hollywood Worksource Center has helped me gain a RN position in an acute care hospital free of charge. I can’t express how thankful I am to Hollywood Worksource Center, but I am definitely indebted to Ms. Linda Daniels for all the support. Ms. Daniels has gone over and beyond from encouraging me through hour long conversations, sharing with me tactful information in applying for positions and what I needed to do to follow up on positions I’ve applied for. Ms. Daniels has also shared with me which hospitals would be most likely to hire new graduate nurses, and she has also provided me leads for potential employment opportunities as a Registered Nurse.
Hollywood Worksource goes even further as to emailing participants job leads weekly, and furthermore, they are just a great resource available during confusing times of trying to obtain employment within the healthcare field.
When I initially signed up to be a participant in the program, I did not expect the one-on-one care I received. I was not treated like a number rather I was treated like a human being with actual needs and emotions.
Thank you Hollywood Worksource for walking the path of acquiring employment with me within the field I hope to love for years to come.
